Privacy Policy for Warish (ওয়ারিশ)

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app Warish, Bengali display name ওয়ারিশ, package name com.infolily.warish, and to this static information website.

1. What Warish does

Warish is an unofficial educational inheritance calculator. It helps users understand possible Hanafi Muslim inheritance shares by entering heir counts and, optionally, asset amounts. The app is not a government service, legal advice, court decision, or fatwa.

2. Data the Android app collects

The current Android app does not collect personal data from users. It does not require an account, login, phone number, email address, location, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone, SMS, or payment information.

Heir counts and optional asset amounts entered in the calculator are processed on the user's device to show calculation results. These inputs are not sent to Infolily, any server, or any third party by the current app.

3. Why calculation inputs are processed

Calculation inputs are used only to calculate and display inheritance shares, excluded heirs, asset breakdowns, and step-by-step explanations inside the app. This processing is necessary for the core app feature and happens locally on the device.

4. Data sharing

The Android app does not share user data with third parties. The current release does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, social login, cloud sync, or backend API calls.

5. Internet and permissions

The current Android app does not request the Android internet permission. It also does not request storage, location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, phone, or notification permissions.

6. Support emails

If a user contacts us by email, we may receive the user's email address, message content, and any attachments the user chooses to send. We use this information only to answer support, privacy, or app-quality questions. We do not sell support emails or use them for advertising.

7. Website privacy

This website is a static landing page and privacy policy page. It does not use cookies, advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or forms. If hosted on Cloudflare Pages or another hosting provider, the provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser metadata, request path, and timestamp for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

8. Children

Warish is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it where required.

9. Data retention and deletion

Because the Android app does not collect app data on our servers, there is no app-server account or calculation history for us to delete. Users can clear local app data from Android system settings or uninstall the app.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes, when Google Play requirements change, or when legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
